Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  • Add the browned beef to your crock pot along with kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir everything to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours.
  • Once cooked, serve the chili with optional toppings such as sour cream, shredded cheese, or chopped green onions.

Notes

Adjust the heat to your liking by adding jalapeños or cayenne pepper. Add bell peppers, carrots, or zucchini for extra veggies. Great for meal prep—freeze leftovers up to 3 months.
